Identification of Coraline Algae In Meras Waters Bunaken District

Marine algae are part of marine organisms, especially plants, and included in lower plants that do not have different skeletal structures such as roots, stems, leaves. Although it looks different, is actually just a form the thallus. Coralline belong to Rhodophyta Division, Class Florideophycidae, Order Corallinales. divided into two parts based on their shape (morphology), namely non-geniculate geniculate. This study aims identify types coralline crustose (non-geniculate) branched (geniculate) found Meras, Bunaken District can explain morphology diffuse geniculate forms. research was conducted by means SCUBA diving at depth 3 – 7 meters, samples were taken using cruising survey method. After that, brought ashore for next identification process. The results has been obtained there 2 non-geniculate, Peyssonnelia caulifera Orientalis, 1 species geniculate, Tricleocarpa fragilis identified.Keywords: Identification, Algae, MerasAbstrakAlga laut adalah bagian dari organisme khususnya tumbuhan dan termasuk dalam tingkat rendah yang tidak mempunyai perbedaan susunan kerangka seperti akar, batang daun. Walaupun terlihat memiliki perbedaan, sebenarnya alga hanya merupakan bentuk talus belaka. Alga koralin tergolong kedalam Divisi Rhodophyta, Kelas Ordo terbagi menjadi dua berdasarkan bentuknya (morfologi), yaitu non (tidak bercabang) (bercabang). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengidentifikasi jenis bercabang (non geniculate) terdapat di Perairan Kecamatan serta menjelaskan morfologi (geniculate). dilakukan Meras dengan cara pada kedalaman meter sampel diambil menggunakan metode jelajah. Setelah itu dibawa ke darat proses identifikasi selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian telah didapat spesies orientalis berhasil teridentifikasi.Kata Kunci: Identifikasi, Koralin,
